Unreal Engine Programmer at Rightsized Games
Having joined Rightsized games shortly after finishing my studies, I was quickly onboarded as a full member of the team. I started out working remotely as a contractor until I moved to Sweden and became a full-time employee as we were getting closer to the release of Undead Inc. a medical management simulator game. During my time I contributed to features in many different areas of programming including animation, AI, tools, localization and gameplay. I learned how to work in a bigger scale project and how to effectively communicate with designers and artist to help them bring their visions to life.
-
Collaborated with artists and designers to implement gameplay systems from the ground up.
-
Took ownership over many of existing systems, delivering continuous support and updates.
-
Held regular planning meetings with the code team to ensure we met our goals.
-
Onboarded both senior contractors and interns onto the team.
